It was a crazy week.  This post and this site is a product of this week. My original website and email server crashed.  My web manager was MIA and I was truly overwhelmed.  After chasing my tail for a few days and muddling through my situation, I picked myself up by the bootstraps and got busy.  I realized I did not like feeling so powerless over this situation.  So now I have a new website, yes it is a work in progress, but it is mine. I am not a web developer but I can learn.

Lessons learned . . .

  • Take a little time to process, do not make drastic decisions while emotionally involved.
  • Seek guidance and advice from trusted advisers.
  • Once a decision is made, pull the trigger, do not belabor the decision and second guess each detail.

So what did I do.  After I decided to start over and get a new hosting server, I made the purchase.  My usual trusted advisers where unavailable so I had to kind of go blind.  But here is the best part, my trusted advisers later checked in with me and gave me some good advice.  It was clear I did not make the best choice, so I was able to go back and make a few changes, some tweaks to my decision.  The ultimate outcome is I have a website that is up and email that is flowing uninterrupted.

Feeling grateful and blessed.
